Ethanol production is growing in the U.S. and contributing in large ways to the nation’s economy. Jobs are being created in multiple sectors in order to support the ethanol industry, including thousands of agriculture jobs.

The USDA reported in 2010 that U.S. farms and ranches spent $288 billion to produce $369 billion in goods, and that U.S. ag-related sales were larger than the GDPs of 200 other countries.
